Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and in-person to determine medical urgency
- Provide accurate medical advice and prioritize patient care based on acuity
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate patient flow
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Handle high-pressure emergency situations with composure
- Train new staff on triage protocols and best practices
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication abilities in high-stress scenarios
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic)
- Ability to start immediately upon offer
