Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions using systematic triage protocols to determine care priority
- Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate treatment plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients via telehealth and in-person
- Monitor patient flow and department resource allocation
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and JCAHO standards
- Train new staff on triage procedures and emergency protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee
- 3+ years emergency department or triage experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with pediatric and adult triage protocols
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
