Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on medical urgency
- Accurately document patient histories, symptoms, and vital signs in EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care plans
- Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients and family members
- Manage triage protocols for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Current California RN license with unrestricted status
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred)
- Exceptional triage assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
