Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to specific dietary needs.
- Foster a warm, supportive environment by providing companionship and engaging in meaningful conversation.
- Administer medication reminders and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living space.
- Transport clients to and from medical appointments, social activities, and errands.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of client care plans and daily logs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) certification is highly preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and proof of insurance required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Proven patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help the elderly and disabled.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
