Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and position patients comfortably
- Support nurses with medical procedures and equipment preparation
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient environments
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification required (or enrollment in approved program)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper technique
- Compassionate attitude and patience with elderly patients
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation to multiple Sacramento locations
