Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning to prevent falls
- Collaborate with RNs and medical staff on patient care plans
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized patient environments
- Support emotional well-being through compassionate communication
Qualifications
- Active Maryland CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- EMR/EHR proficiency preferred
- Valid Maryland driver's license (for occasional off-site duties)
