Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs with precision and accuracy
- Assist with mobility transfers and position patients safely
- Support licensed nursing staff with clinical documentation
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments per infection control protocols
- Communicate patient needs and observations effectively to nursing team
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in hospital/long-term care
- BLS/CPR certification required (AHA preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for patients
- Clear criminal background check and TB test results
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends
