Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take vital signs and monitor patient health status
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure optimal care plans
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in Texas (or willing to obtain certification)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
