Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Document patient care activities, clinical notes, and treatment outcomes accurately and timely.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and support staff to ensure holistic care.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (Preferred).
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
