Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to patients including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Accurately measure and document vital signs and patient observations
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living
- Support meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition intake
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and infection control protocols
- Communicate patient status changes effectively to nursing staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Georgia CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in acute care or long-term setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal skills with genuine compassion for patients
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Physical ability to perform patient care tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
