Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs, pain levels, and overall patient status.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and provide critical support during high-stress situations.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state of Texas.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (BSN preferred, ADN accepted).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
