Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments efficiently
- Provide patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft
- Coordinate patient flow and chairside assistance seamlessly
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Dental Assistant certification (DANB or ODA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CORI/BLS certification current or obtainable within 30 days
- Proficiency in digital radiography and intraoral cameras
- Exceptional chairside manners and patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of OSHA and dental board regulations
