Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using 4-handed dentistry techniques
- Manage digital radiography systems and intraoral cameras
- Prepare and sterilize instruments according to OSHA protocols
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour study models
- Manage patient flow and chairside support for 8+ daily appointments
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and digital charting
- Assist in inventory management of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Certification in radiography and infection control
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner skills
- Ability to manage high-volume patient schedules efficiently
- Tennessee dental radiography permit required
