Responsibilities
- Delicate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Accurate vital sign monitoring and documentation
- Collaboration with RNs for care plan implementation
- Emotional support for patients and families during challenging times
- Maintaining sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Assisting with nutritional needs and dietary restrictions
- Responding promptly to call lights and patient needs
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for rotating shifts including weekends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassion and patience in high-pressure situations
