Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in acute care settings with focus on critical assessment and intervention
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate patient records using Epic EHR systems
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control protocols
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
Qualifications
- Active Colorado RN license (Compact License accepted)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in Med/Surg, ICU, or ER
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Strong clinical skills with medication administration expertise
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with weekend flexibility
