Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Support patients with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
- Communicate any changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse immediately.
- Ensure patient rooms are clean, safe, and organized at all times.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience).
- Current CNA certification or eligibility for certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with patient mobility.
