Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examination by assisting with history taking and vitals.
  • Assist providers during examinations and procedures as needed.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests, phlebotomy, and EKGs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment.
  • Manage patient check-in, insurance verification, and electronic health records (EHR).
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
