Responsibilities

  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
  • Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
  • Document patient care activities, intake and output, and changes in patient condition accurately.
  • Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Communicate effectively with the nursing team and physicians regarding patient status.

Qualifications

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the State of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
