Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Turn, reposition, and transfer patients between beds and wheelchairs safely.
- Feed and assist patients with eating according to dietary restrictions.
- Respond promptly to call lights and patient requests for assistance.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for residents.
Qualifications
- Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Illinois.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Candidate must pass a background check and drug screen.
