Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure patient comfort and dignity.
- Document patient care plans and update medical records accurately and timely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with health standards.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and family members regarding patient status.
- Transport patients to treatment areas using wheelchairs or stretchers.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required (or eligible for reciprocity).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Valid state nursing assistant license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
