Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring from bed to wheelchair and ambulating safely.
- Document patient care activities, changes in patient condition, and medication administration in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with nurses, physicians, and family members regarding patient status and needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, active CNA or LPN license in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
