Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provide personal care to patients including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Medication Assistance: Support patients with medication reminders and document administration as directed by nursing staff.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, charts, and shift notes.
- Communication: Effectively communicate patient status and concerns to RNs and LPNs.
- Emotional Support: Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- CNA Certification: Current, unencumbered CNA license required for the state of Arizona.
- Experience: Previous experience in a nursing home, hospital, or home health setting is preferred but not mandatory for enthusiastic candidates.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is highly desired.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift patients (up to 50 lbs), and perform physical tasks as required.
- Professionalism: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine passion for patient care.
