We are looking for individuals who are passionate about patient care and ready to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding patients as needed.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Assist registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) with medical procedures and treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and concerns.
- Document all patient care activities and observations accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond promptly to patient calls and requests for assistance.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required by the state of Illinois.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient safety and dignity.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
