Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by licensed healthcare providers.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure continuity of care and patient safety.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to patient care.
Qualifications
- Current, active CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or RN license in the state of Indiana.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous experience in home health, long-term care, or hospital settings is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift, turn, and move patients safely using proper body mechanics.
- Compassionate demeanor and a strong commitment to patient advocacy.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
