Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Report any changes in patient condition or unexpected symptoms to the Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment, adhering to all sanitation protocols.
- Assist with mobility support, including transferring patients to and from beds or wheelchairs safely.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current, active CNA certification (State of California) required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
