Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care under the direct supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Turn, reposition, and move patients to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and the use of walkers or wheelchairs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment in patient rooms and common areas.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing team and document care accurately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred, but we accept candidates with strong healthcare motivation and willingness to train.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on empathy and patience.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
