Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical history.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urine analysis and blood draws.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Manage patient records and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately.
- Greet patients and provide excellent customer service at the front desk.
- Assist in minor procedures and patient education.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Strong computer proficiency with EHR software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Texas driver's license (for occasional travel to satellite clinics).
