Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during clinical procedures.
- Perform venipuncture and basic EKGs with precision and patient care.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential patient medical records and charts.
- Administer medications, immunizations, and vaccines under direct supervision.
- Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary care team.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and hospital safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or related field.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification required.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is a plus.
