Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with evidence-based nursing standards
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical changes accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky (or compact state eligibility)
- Associates or BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience preferred
- BLS certification; ACLS/PALS certifications highly desirable
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Electronic Health Records (EHR) proficiency
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
