Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, documenting all changes promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with legal standards.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and healing environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting (preferred).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
