Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality patient care and treatment according to established nursing protocols and physician orders.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Monitor and record vital signs and medical information; document patient care services in medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and ensure a safe environment for all.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
