Responsibilities
- Provide direct and compassionate patient care, monitoring vital signs and medical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and responses to treatment accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the wider healthcare team to develop individualized care plans.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and critical care situations within the unit.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New grads considered with internships).
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, team-oriented environment.
