Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide basic wound care and change dressings as directed.
- Turn, reposition, and move patients to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse immediately.
- Support patients and families with emotional support and education.
Qualifications
- Current, active CNA certification issued by the State of California.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work rotating weekend shifts.
