Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient intake, including vitals, medical history collection, and initial assessments.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures with precision and care.
- Perform phlebotomy and EKG testing as required by patient needs.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Administer medications and vaccines under the direct supervision of a licensed provider.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and communicate test results effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming patient environment.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CMA, RMA, or equivalent (Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical office setting is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic, AthenaHealth, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-first approach.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends if needed.
