Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and specimen collection
- Assist providers with patient examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) remotely during off-peak hours
- Coordinate telehealth appointments and virtual patient follow-ups
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory control
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA/NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/NextGen preferred)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Strong telehealth communication skills
- California state medical assistant registration
- Flexible schedule availability (7pm-7am, weekends included)
