Responsibilities
- Conduct Patient Intake: Greet patients, verify insurance information, and complete accurate medical histories.
- Vital Signs & Measurements: Accurately measure and record blood pressure, temperature, weight, and height.
- Assist Providers: Prepare examination rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist physicians during procedures.
- Injections & Phlebotomy: Administer injections and draw blood samples as required by protocol.
- Charting: Maintain up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) and ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and restock medical supplies and exam room necessities.
- Patient Education: Provide clear instructions on medications, follow-up care, and general health guidelines.
Qualifications
- Certification Required: Current CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) certification.
- Licensure: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Availability: Must be available to work nights (e.g., 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM) on a consistent basis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient confidentiality.
- Technology: Proficient in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
