Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and individualized care plans for weekend shifts.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and critical care situations.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic patient environment.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the charge nurse or provider immediately.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as required.
- Computer proficiency with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.).
