Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and Telemetry
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead patient education initiatives and discharge planning processes
- Mentor junior staff through clinical guidance and best practice sharing
- Participate in hospital committees driving quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- 2+ years acute care experience with ICU or ER specialization preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends
