Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields before surgical procedures
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during operations
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce safety protocols
- Assist in patient positioning and draping
- Count and manage surgical instruments/equipment
- Scrub and gown for complex surgical cases
- Participate in sterile processing and inventory management
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- Minimum 2 years recent OR experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Knowledge of sterile processing standards
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts
