Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and triage calls using standardized protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate care level and urgency
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients during high-stress situations
- Coordinate patient flow between emergency departments and specialty care
- Train new staff on triage procedures and best practices
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- ACLS/BLS certifications required
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Spanish fluency highly valued
