Responsibilities
- Accurately process and fill prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Prepare medication labels, manage inventory, and restock pharmacy shelves.
- Verify patient information and insurance details to ensure billing accuracy.
- Assist customers with medication questions and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments securely.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient workflow and timely dispensing.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or eligible to obtain certification (PTCB or ExCPT).
- Current state licensure (if required in IN).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with patients.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with pharmacy management software.
- High school diploma or GED required.
