Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with patients' daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with medication administration under nursing supervision
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized patient environments
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver coordinated patient care
- Support emotional and mental well-being of patients through companionship
- Adhere to strict HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in District of Columbia or Virginia
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Background check and TB clearance required
