Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance as needed.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Collaborate with the nursing staff and healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Document patient progress and daily activities in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Colorado.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and families.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and a strong desire to help others.
