Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide basic patient care, such as turning and repositioning bedridden patients to prevent bedsores.
- Document patient care activities and changes in patient conditions accurately in medical records.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members regarding patient status.
- Ensure patient rooms and surroundings are clean, safe, and orderly.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
