Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers using proper techniques.
- Document patient care plans and update records accurately.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Tennessee.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Compassionate nature with a focus on patient dignity and respect.
- Experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
