Responsibilities
- Del compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning to prevent bedsores
- Support nurses with medical procedures and equipment operations
- Maintain clean, sanitized environments following OSHA standards
- Communicate patient needs and changes in condition to nursing staff
- Administer medications under nurse supervision per facility protocols
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in acute care or long-term settings
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work day/night/weekend shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Ohio driver's license preferred
