Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper lifting techniques.
- Administer medications and document treatments as per facility protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Report any changes in a patient's condition to the RN or Charge Nurse immediately.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient advocacy.
