Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Assist patients with mobility issues using walkers, wheelchairs, or canes.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Administer medications as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care status and updates.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA license issued by the state of Nevada.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient dignity and respect.
