As part of our team, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our patients by providing essential daily care and emotional support.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Communicate any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Document care provided accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or state certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
