Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor patient health status and report any changes to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Administer medication as directed by the RN or LPN under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Georgia CNA license.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
